How is a chapter to determine the Statute of Limitations for their particular state? It may be written in statute somewhere but which statute might apply in any given situation. State lawmakers have the nasty habit of writing conflicting and contradictory statutes as they see the need. In each state a lawyer would have to be hired to do the research and come up with an opinion. In the end it is only an opinion of a lawyer but it will be costly to obtain.
