FS: Lycoming IO-360-C1C from a Piper Arrow
Selling a Lycoming IO-360-C1C with 100 total hours in the log book. Purchased as a factory re-manufactured engine and then the aircraft was totalled in an incident. The prop is still straight and the nose wheel did not collapse, but the prop did dig some gravel and the engine needs a prop strike inspection.
The engine has been removed and is in a crate ready to ship or for local pickup. Willing to sell as-is if someone wants to complete the inspection themselves. Asking $15K. Otherwise, asking $25K once the prop strike inspection is completed, which would be about the end of March. This is a great opportunity to pick up a very popular and reliable 200HP engine that will have 1900 hours left until the next scheduled overhaul. Don't settle for a run-out engine for your new plane.
Located in St. Paul, MN, but can ship anywhere for cost of freight. Photo of the engine is attached, but it does not really do it justice; the engine is a thing of beauty! Additional photo showing the damage to the prop is also included to give you some idea of the minimal impact suffered. I do have the nice set of baffles available as well as some other accessories.
Thanks for your time and please PM with any questions!

Still available. I am planning to send out for the prop strike inspection soon, so PM if you would like any information before this happens. If you have a preferred shop or mechanic, this is your chance to have them complete the work for you to save big. Originally purchased from Lycoming for $32,000, this engine has 100 hours in the log book and can be as good as new for a minimum investment.
