Don't let the doorknob hit you in the butt Rod..... and take your picket fences with you!
Here-here.....absolutely!
Last year he was being honored and his designs were in show center (whatever they are calling it this year....).
That's what it has to do with his 'making an appearance'.....or not.
PS: Won't be checking back on this thread EVER, so rattle on to yourselves and all Brucie's groupies can whine to their heart's content......
This is a waste of time. Tried to get it through to the infamous Dr. Chien that there are important needs for early testing for the cancer I dealt with and his answer was to delete my posts and I...
"EAA's acclaimed SportAir Workshops will for the first time ever offer a pair of sessions during the week of AirVenture Oshkosh......"
I'm shocked, what were they thinking before.....?
Oh, I...
There are a lot of folks that seem easy to fool. Some even fly nice NON-Eaa aircraft.....and seem to be taking over our organization.
"I spent the day putting up signs on building and anything...
Gee....maybe the cost of water sales for an hour? Get a grip buddy. Now we're down to the astronomical charges at 'airventure' paying for crappers..... I'll just bet there is a little left over.
So...most, if not all, the planes and exhibitors that ARE 'airventure' are not only free but pay to be there (plus all the other costs just to get there, stay there and get home), 'most' the help is...

If anyone is building a traditional 6-pack panel I have removed my vac pump with 500 hours on it, associated filter and pressure adjuster, artificial horizon and directional gyro. 2059
Checked the...
The blue 'data out' wire from my -396 is feeding NMEA-0183 to my autopilot. Can I just splice into that line for the feed to a D10A?
Does anyone have the same setup?
Thanks!
Nice try. People that feel that way don't park there. And it doesn't address the loss of front line Eaa for the benefit of high rollers that runs against just about any grain I can think of in our...
See, what is everyone so worried about? Homebuilt parking, front and center as it should be at the EAA extravaganza, is given to the high rollers and the planes that used to be an important part of...
There is a pretty interesting conversation going on in the RV forum (the big, commercial one) about getting some folks on the board that actually believe in the original EAA instead of this new...
I don't think you have 100% concurrence with that opinion......
If he had spent half the time on growing the chapters and the interest in experimental aviation that was spent on "airventure" then...
Can I ask what was the point of the story in the EAA magazine on an RV-7 that almost made 27,000 feet? He mentions setting a record but then nothing else about it and it's too low for a record for...
You want to wash the subject away so I get it. I know, I know, pass it first to find out what's in it.....where have we heard that before.....
What you call pointless is much less so to many...
It's interesting to see this thread dug up again. No mention of the offensive person, just 'improved training'....whoopeee..
To allow a situation like that to continue year after year goes to the...
Thanks Bruce. I use Flight Following a lot on trips over an hour or so and your work here is very helpful.
Thanks again!
EXCELLENT story. We used to have one too and she did a good job. After several years she went away and we miss her. Just traps now. Would prefer a good mouser....
Have always set traps in all 8 corners of the t-hangar and it seems to catch them before they can cause damage. Never had a problem.
Chuck,
Just reply and 'go advanced' where you scroll down and see a 'manage attachments' where you can attach anything.
Hope that helps ya.....
Excellent points Jerry.
