By way of an update, I bought the plans for the Horizon 2 from someone recently. I had already decided to build an affordaplane first, which I think was a good idea just to learn how. I was not considering scratch building the Horizon before, but I actually kind of like scratch building the A-plane so I'm more good with that idea for the horizon now. I bought the videos from fisher a while back and they are a little time portal back to 1982 but they are also very informative.
