Five women, five men, all novices- build and fly an airplane in seven days

Cool. Fortunately South Africa has more lenient homebuilt regulations.

Awesome video! What a thrill for the team of builders!

It's been done before, at Oshkosh!
Does anyone remember, years ago (maybe late 70s), when Chris Heintz announced his intention to build a Zenith airplane from a kit at Oshkosh? Many volunteers signed up in advance, and my recollection is that they worked 24/7 to complete the airplane. It flew in less than 7 days.

I saw Yellow at the 09 Oshkosh, flight around the world is a feat for lsa.

I do not know about Oshkosh, but I know that Zenith built a Zodiac CH601 in 7 days at Sun 'n' Fun in 1993.
