Thread: Moving wood and fabric plane across country

  1. #11
I recently moved to another state and I can say that it is really hard! Until I sorted all the things in boxes, I arranged everything, it took a long time. I thought I was going out of my mind. But it's good that I found out about a company that deals with moving, and they helped us throughout the rest of the process.

I came across an interesting article about State To State Moving Company, where I found about them. So I recommend ThreeMovers , they offer a variety of services including packing, moving, and even storage solutions, making them a one-stop-shop for all your moving needs. They prioritize efficiency and reliability, ensuring a smooth transition to your new home.

Jeffery: Going to be a bit tough for us to recommend someone, based on your particular location.....

I just moved a Rose Parrakeet from Texas to Connecticut in a 20' U-Haul box truck. 1800 miles, 12 states, 6 days, no issues.

Pretty sure OD has 48' and 53 footers. I can remember seeing them from my driving days. I've been retired a year now so maybe they only run Pups (28 ft)
on OTR runs. If they can't do there are any number of regional carriers that should be able to help. Or look up hot shot carriers. They run a lot of longer gooseneck trailers behind coal rolling pick ups. ( I'm just using your reply for my reply Craig)

Haven't seen OD with anything but pups in a long time. I'll have to look at their new terminal a couple of miles from home the next time I go by in daylight.

I figure Jeffery has his bird flying, since this thread is over 3 years old and he's located in Israel....Doubt any US carriers run in the Middle East.....

Ahh...don't sweat it. This is a pretty low volume board. One board I'm on is quite high volume and it's funny when someone joins and then starts commenting on threads that died years prior. What's even funnier was a guy that started asking all sorts of questions in one of those zombie threads, of a guy that had been dead for more than 5 years.....it even said that under his forum picture on his last time he posted in that thread.

The thread is 3 years old but Jeffery's question is only from a week ago. Recommending a US shipper for somebody over there would be silly, but surely there's a U-haul analogue?
