On the morning of August 30, 2018 at 6:18am, the TwinJAG made its maiden voyage! The flight lasted 15 minutes and the aircraft exceeded my expectations! The engines performed flawlessly and run so smooth as if flying behind a turbine. This is just the beginning of Phase I flight testing as I will be completing a total of 40 hours over the next few weeks.
There are so many people that I would like to thank for their support over this 8 year project. I would like to start with my amazing & wonderful wife Ginger for putting up with my craziness and believing in me! My amazing dad for sharing his mechanical skills (especially sheet metal) and tools with me. The rest of my family for supporting me! William Wynne of Flycorvair.net/Flycorvair.com and Dan & Rachel Weseman of Sport Performance Aircraft for sharing their immense knowledge of the Corvair engine for aircraft use with me.
