    Happy Assemblies

    Dumb question again - is there any way to combine members of a assembly into a new part? I have a couple of instances where that would be very helpful.

    Not a dumb question at all;
    With the assembly active, go to: File > Save as and under Save as Type choose Part (*.prt,*sldprt)​, and your'e done. (Don't forget to press "enter").
