Yesterday, was May 4th. I wonder how many people here know or remember the event from that date?
Hint, Army 10, other side 0 and it wasn't a football game.

I'll take a stab and say Coral Sea.
The opinions and statements of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.
As Frank points out there was a major battle May 4-8 in the Coral Sea, with the real battle May 7&8. 1942.. But that was U S Navy, not Army, and I think experts would say it was a tie with Japan. We lost more ships than they did, but they lost more men,and it did stop their invasion.
The May 4th in the news last Sunday was Army and in the U S. No actual Army casualties.

Kent State - a dreadful event that had nothing whatsoever to do with aviation. There are lots of appropriate places on the Internet to discuss it - here's one I picked at random.
