Happy Using a scanner radio at oshkosh for the first time...tips?

    Hi!
I've been to Oshkosh many times but this is the first time I'll have a radio scanner with me (a Uniden BR330T).

Any tips on best frequencies to listen to around the airventure fun? What frequencies typically have the most interesting coms?

I've seen some lists for some Oshkosh frequencies, but they seem to be several years old and I'm not sure if they are still current..and even so, which
    frequencies are worth listening to.

I will be camping for a couple of nights.

    thanks!

LiveATC.net has a full list up now. It's usually up around the time of AirVenture and then down the rest of the year.

    My favorites are usually:

Air Boss 133.850 (Great during the afternoon show for hearing the boss direct show traffic and hear what's happening when)
Oshkosh Tower (North) 118.500 (Runway 9/27, great in the morning and evening after the show to listen to arrivals and departures)
Oshkosh Tower (South) 126.600 (Runway 18/36, same as above)

Happy listening, it's addictive! I actually went back to the LiveATC archives after the show last year and downloaded a few hours of ATC audio so I could listen throughout the year and get my KOSH ATC fix.
