Big Grin Formula for Drilled AN Bolts (How do you determine where they are drilled?)

    Hello!

So, for you CAD people out there, there is a great tool for Rhino 3D that will generate bolts (http://mcvanaero.com/resources.html). I was so happy I wrote the guy and asked him if he could add AN hardware to the list. Well, he is in the process of writing AN bolts into his plugin and so far, he has it pretty much wrapped up.

The one thing we cannot find is the formula for where to drill the hole in the bolt! The bolts are spot on (scale and threading is very accurate) so making sure the drill hole is where its suppose to be is paramount.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

Shoot me an email that I can send a file to and you will have all the data you need. There is no formula, but rather a specific dimension based on grip length.
