Strong, National, and Softie are rated up to 254 lbs. I would not push it. The heavier you are the harder you hit the ground. Butler has parachutes rated for higher weights. Give them a call.

That said, I was at Sun-N-Fun a couple of days ago speaking with the Strong rep at their booth. They are finishing the approval of a parachute rated to 300 lbs. But the FAA has not finished processing the paperwork. So if Butler is a little expensive, you might call Strong and see if you can get in line for one of the new parachutes.

Thx Wes. Haven't jumped since 1967; hope I never have to again. Looking for used. I'll take hitting the ground a little hard, certainly not so much as without one.
