We have a husband-wife team in Chapter 1414 who fly the EAA B17 and they gave a presentation at our chapter last year. From that presentation I would say yes they are.

The public announcements have been remarkably short on future plans. I assumed (hopefully incorrectly) that they were going to quietely turn it into a static display and hope it didn't turn into a big brouhaha.
