½ VW Question (actually a complete question about a ½ VW engine)

I’m gonna keep it simple and to the (bullet) point.

• I would like a NO B.S. weight of your ½ VW installation.
• I guess it would also help to know which version of the ½ VW you are talking about and its Rated HP @ X rpm.

I never weighed mine, but Mosler gave 85# as the weight of their half VW engines. "Weights include all attached accessories and complete induction and ignition systems, but do not include exhaust systems or lubricants." Elsewhere in the manual they say 90#, which may be a flying weight including oil and the basic exhaust shown in the catalog? They said 35HP for the 1039cc MMCB and 40HP for the 1083cc CB-40. Some say the CB40 was really more like 37HP, but I never saw any real test data.
