    Solar Regrigerator

Has anyone tried using the solar powered refridgerator/ freezer boxes at Oshkosh? I am considering something between 10-17 liters that uses about 45 watts.

I haven't tried a straight solar powered unit, but a few weeks ago I picked up a 12V unit and added a second solar panel to the roof of my pop-up camper to help keep up with it. It sounds like a good plan, but I'll let you in August whether it worked.

I haven’t tried the solar-powered refrigerator/freezer boxes at Oshkosh myself, but I did get a solar fridge for camping last summer. I opted for a 15-liter one that uses around 45 watts, and it worked like a charm. It kept our drinks cold and food fresh throughout the trip.

I powered it with solar panels Dublin, and they were fantastic. Super reliable and easy to set up. If you’re considering getting one for Oshkosh, I’d say go for it. It’s convenient, eco-friendly, and a great way to ensure you’ve got cold drinks and fresh food on hand.
