Task Based / Event Based Phase 1

We have just begun our Phase 1, and have learned about the new FAA rules pertaining to a task based program versus the hour based test program.

How do we apply to transition to the task based flight test Phase 1 program?

    Thanks!

You will need to apply to have your Operating Limitations amended to include the new paragraph allowing the new Task Based program.

Thanks. Do I apply to my local FSDO (Dallas), via phone call? Email? AWC Portal? The FSDO that issued my AWC is in MSP. Thanks again.

You can apply to the North Texas FSDO or a DAR.

Glad to see you've got her all fixed up after what happened. Good luck this round. Are you posting your progress anywhere but here?
