Bending sheet aluminum without a slip roll

I'm ready to build the boot cowl and other fire wall forward sheet metal for my Wag Aero 2+2/PA14 build. I don't have a slip roll so I'm looking for available options on how to do the curved bends. I've heard about using a plastic pipe; any references or videos on how that do that kind of bending?
    Thanks,
    Marty

Usually just wrap it around the boot cowl without preforming.

I bend it across my thigh/knee - gets it close enough.

A small automobile tire often works well.

English Wheel with a "Upper" rubber wheel works good.
