Spoke with a guy whose company is a vendor that is a friend. He said he is allowed to bring his very large fifth wheel which contains all of his merchandise - aircraft engines - and can use a golf cart to get it set up BUT. Only until Sunday night prior to the start. After that he is not allowed even a golf cart unless he”donates” $50,000!

There seems to be a “secret” society of “allowed” people. The key is money

This is what you want. (Other than the exception for donations). There's no sane show that lets people drive vehicles in amongst the crowd. This was an absolutely disaster in Oshkoshes ages ago. It got better when they hired the exhibition service and put restrictions on load in/load out times.

As a tram driver, don t get me started on the conveyance problem cited above. Anyone that doesn t belieive there is a problem should try driving a tram at peak times.
