Garmin 96C works for me. Screen is kind of small but for simple direct to flying it works. Also it makes a great backup because it runs on regular AA batteries I can just keep in my flight bag.

You might be able to just throw a neutral density filter on the front of the lens to correct for the propeller effect. There is a good thread about this on supercub forums...

If you are not flying at night you do not need any lights at all. At least that is my understanding. I am not familiar with your particular plane though.
