I don't log onto these forums often enough...
Although I could ramble on with praise for Red Stewart Airfield / Stewart's Aircraft Service for weeks, I'll try and keep it brief.
I started...
Beautiful! :D
+1
It's not the closest from where you're at... but Stewart's Aircraft Service in Waynesville, OH (SE of Dayton) rents Cubs and Champs and instructs in them. That's where I learned to fly and it's a...
Nice photos, thanks for sharing! My first solo was in a Champ back in '08 so that little plane will always have a special place in my heart...

Although I do belong to a local chapter and they're a nice group of guys (I help out with out annual fly-in, pancake...

Great points... and I'll be honest and say I've never thought about the Interstate effect before.
For me personally, our usual trips to Detroit from Dayton just don't make much sense in an...

Great, great video! :D
I have to share one I made a year ago... not nearly as good as yours, but I think hearing what the kids had to say (go to the 6:00 mark) after their flight is what it's...
Very nice airplane p**n! ;)
Try matrix.itasoftware.com for all your airfare searches. I'm a frequent flyer and it's BY FAR the best site out there. Once you find what you want, then go to the airline's website and book directly...

What the heck happened to Mary Jones?

I use a yoke mount screwed onto the frame bars in the Cub, connected via a RAM arm to a tripod mount. In the Cessnas, I replace the yoke mount with a RAM suction mount.
A few videos that show the...
Awesome - nothing better than taking someone for their first airplane ride... and in a Cub, no less!

For what it's worth, while I am a fan of the overall Sport Aviation re-design and content, I think adding Mac McClellan was a terrible move. I agree 100% with everyone who says his articles don't...
In my brief one-day visit I was able to see Bob Hoover, Rod Machado, Sully and Jeff, Ariel Tweto, and (non-aviation) George Lucas. Not too bad - only at Oshkosh, right?
