Lot of people have asked that question, over the years. The answer for the past ~18 years is, "You don't have to." Aircraft meeting the FAA's definition of Light Sport can be flown without an FAA...
The few times I've been to AV I've faced entirely the opposite problem: All the larger T-shirts were sold out, and just S and M available. Obviously, they're making an attempt to balance the number...
Over the years, I've included gyros in my safety studies but haven't done anything with them. Then I got asked a question about their safety record on another forum. Figured I'd share it with the...

Tried it as a ZIP file (an approved attachment type)...

Yeah, it's kind of weird. I'm getting notices that some countries won't be able to play the music due to a copyright conflict. But it looks like it works in the US, at least.
I moved the camera...
It's getting harder to do; YouTube has some pretty thorough copyright checking. I've got some old videos still online that use movie music, can't get away with that anymore. Have some recordings...

Good stuff, Eric.
However, I must gently point out that the subject line refers to ULTRALIGHT electric aviation. People are using the physics that hampers 180,000-pound airliners to justify why...
I'm certainly no expert, but from the Type Certificate Data Sheet, the H2AD is the approved engine for the 172N and the D2J is the approved engine for the 172P. Comparing the TCDS between the two,...
