Thanks Dale, this is a good tip. I'll use it.
This is the EAA work table - I built mine 8 ft. long.

It looks useful, thanks for sharing it!
I bend it across my thigh/knee - gets it close enough.
While not a direct answer to your question, I bought new bearings for a set of McCauley wheels from qualitybearingsbeltsandchain.com. The LM29749/LM 29710 sets look nice, though I haven't flown them...
Excellent Ron, thanks for sharing it!
OK - I turned a thick (1/2") die for the rivet squeezer to jump a flange. Works great.
Sometimes your work is too good to comment on ---
What have you been doing for the last year?
What is this most recent part and why is a nut taped on the Knipix(sp?) pliers?
While I appreciate the work done in reporting this, and I understand the issues with searching the FAA's database when anyone can call their aircraft anything they want and the plethora of typo's, I...
Thanks! I'm thinking that the tank will function as the drag/anti-drag wires if attached to the top and bottom of the spars with flanges, or just the top of the spars with a plywood skin on the...
I would also like to see videos on using other fabric systems - Stewart and Oratex come to mind, as well as patching fabric from one system with materials from another.
Thanks, I haven't yet figured out which ones might have what I want to see. I did also find that what looks like the rest of the drawings are at the Smithsonian, and are available....
I'm looking for plans for installing fuel tanks in wood and fabric wings. I'd like to move the fuel tank from over the passenger's head to the wings in my Woody's Pusher.
Do any of Roger Mann's...
Having never used a plasma cutter, I'm only answering based on what I've read and the lack of other answers. I read many articles on the internet about using TIG to weld 4130, and most of them...
I didn't use a search, just scanned through the list and counted what I thought were Tailwinds. I know this is not something that you can do for your report. There are SO many ways that people...
I counted 312 Tailwinds in the registry, didn't look to see how many new, etc.
In my case, it's a sacrificial engine till the airframe is sorted out, at least. Then it's time to build one like I want it. I won't have needed to run it hard to seat the rings in an unproven...
My plan is to install a run out but serviceable engine in the new airplane for at least the phase one period. I don't want to be breaking in a new engine and test flying a new aircraft at the same...
Don't forget the EAA Flight Test Manual and Test Cards:

I'd like to see a video on cleaning and preparing a steel tube fuselage that has been over 20 years in the making for priming/painting.
Good work Ron - I was just surprised to not see any Tailwinds in your first post, as there is an active community around them. I do appreciate the complexity and effort in compiling such a list. In...
I searched using W10, then read through the results. There were 3 pages, several with Wittman, Whitman, Tailwind, Tail Wind, etc.
I counted 103 Wittman W10's registered in a quick search .... with several typo's accounted for.
