Pre-OSH type club meets

I wonder how many pre-Oshkosh type club meets there are the weekend before the show in the Midwest?

The Tailwind fly-in is in Baraboo, WI this weekend, and I know there are always organized mass arrivals for Bonanza's, Mooney's, Comanche's, etc...but what about other experimental type-gatherings the weekend before?

Cessnas to Oshkosh always meets a couple days ahead in Juneau.
They're somewhat affiliated with the Cessna Pilot's Association these days.

IIRC, the Pietenpol fans meet at Brodhead the week before.

Broadhead! That's the name of it...I've been wracking my brain trying to remember the name of that place today! I think you are correct about the Piet meet there.
