Northern Lightning

Yesterday was the start of Operation Northern Lightning and the Volks MOA in central Wisconsin rumbled all day long. Was able to catch a glimpse of an F-16 turning and burning before yesterday’s storms rolled through. Today is it’s clear and a million but around 1000 the quiet of the Wisconsin dairy countryside was interrupted with the crack of a sonic boom. Ahh, the sound of freedom.

It's good to hear about a friend. Here in my office at home I have a 1/100 scale F-16C in Polish markings. Harking back to 1980 when I first met the F-16 close up at Edwards the news is good. Not everything has a propeller and a straight wing.
