View Full Version : Kolb - FSII- full enclosure in sections

Fly with or without doors...
One main door , the other side will be an emergency escape .
I have water at one end of my runway , I've heard Kolb owners complaints about
the possibility of being trapped .
I haven't started on that side yet ...
.
Might be getting Full Lotus later

I took a picture from the same angle as I had before the enclosure ...
It's hard to tell the difference

Finishing up with the lexan...

The escape door is secured

maybe a piece of styrofoam under the spring.

The foam in the picture was replaced with a smaller one .

The door latch has a "stop"...its !/2" stainless steel rivet with an aluminum sleeve and nylon washer
