I'm in the final weeks of my stick welding (SMAW) course and finish up at the end of the month just in time for Sun'n Fun. I plan to attend the TIG welding workshop and was just wondering if anyone could share what to expect in the class (either from your experience at SnF or OSH as I assume the classes are similar, if not the same). For example, are there some lectures up front on GTAW basics or will we jump right into welding beads on coupons?
