I'm being hit by the ADS-B mandate in an unsurprising, but less conventional way.


My transponder died and non of the local avionics shops have the shop time to install a new tray, so I am looking for a slide-in replacement, hoping to get back in the air ASAP.


Does anyone have a used, working KT76/78 (not KT76A/76C/78A) that they can sell me from some hidden shelf?


I am having trouble finding one for a fair price.

They are listed on Ebay ranging from $200 - $400 as they are being replaced by the gross by 1090-ES capable transponders.
