Mooney M20J Down in Minnesota

A Mooney M20J crashed a half mile West of Carlton County Airport into a river. The plane has been located there. No information has been released as of yet on the Pilot or those aboard. The plane is based at Crystal and is a part of the Cherokee Flying Club there. Positive thinking and prayers are encouraged!

Update- Dr Thomas Stillwell, the Pilot of the Mooney M20J has passed away in the crash. Sending out my deepest condolences to his family. As more information becomes available later on down the road from the NTSB, I hope we all take the time to learn from what happened so we can apply it to our flying knowledge.
