I have been told by several persons, at least one of whom claimed to be there, that there was the pilot of an O-2B (psyops version of the Skymaster) who recorded the sound of an F-4 at takeoff and would play that over the plane's 1800 watt loudspeaker during his O-2's takeoff run from Tan Son Nhut airbase in Vietnam.
