Hard to believe it's 5 years ago today that the Boeing 777 with 239 souls on board completely vanished from the world as we know it. After prolonged, extensive searches and 2 unverifiable aircraft parts recovered, 5 years later there is still no wreckage location and still no logical answers to explain the disappearance.

Like the ending in Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind, I think it's time for the aliens to return the plane and its passengers. Don't you?

I thought the flaperon was definitely linked to the aircraft.

My memory tells me it was inconclusive. I could be wrong.
