those who have or are flying with a rotax 503 what is your average fuel burn
I am putting one on my project and have a 6 gallon fuel tank, I am not sure if I should add another tank or not

Two strokes like Rotax burn 0.1 gal per hour per HP that means 503 at normal 75% power setting will burn 4 gal per hour

6 gals will git you there...

You need another to get back....
.
Small fly-ins don't always have gas...
.
Gotta Fly...

PS I'll be squeezing in ANOTHER 5 gals on Cross country flights ,more weight more fuel.
