Oshkosh 2018 Arrival and Departures - Videos

Hi All,

We made it to Oshkosh for the first time this year, having managed to find someone to rent a plane to two guys from England for the week.

For those interested, I filmed the arrival which was pretty smooth up until the point the taildragger ahead of us decided to start a ground loop, thankfully he caught it and we both emerged unscathed.

Really enjoyable 4 days at Oshkosh this year, something every pilot needs to do at least one time (and definitely more!), no doubt we'll back again.

Thanks for the videos, I find myself getting a little tense just watching !!! Made my 3rd trip this year, driving, not flying though. One day, one day !

Thanks Bob, appreciate it. It was certainly a little tense, having had to wait the Saturday and Sunday 'cause of the weather we'd resigned ourself to going to Fond Du Lac.

However when we checked the ATIS en-route and Oshkosh was still accepting people for camping we decided to give it a go, so a mixture of excitement and tension in those final 5 minutes on the realisation we'd got very lucky with the timing.
