I'll be taking delivery on a Titan T-51 kit soon. It doesn't come with a heat system, but since I live in northern Minnesota I would like to have one. I assume an automotive type system would be the way to go, but I don't have a lot of knowledge about those either. Any ideas?

Aircraft Spruce has a cabin heater with electric fan designed for the 912 and similar liquid cooled engines.

There are others who sell exhaust muff heat exchangers for the 912 as well.

I put one of these in my Highlander.

Very simple to install and it works fine. There are two fans so you can run one for low heat or both for high heat. The fans run off a single switch. It comes with instructions including a wire diagram. Coolant hoses do not penetrate the firewall. I made a simple mount from angle aluminum that holds it securely.
