So Last year, we camped at about 26th or 27th and Elm. I found this a good compromise of far enough away from the gates so that traffic wasn't awful past our campsite, lower number of campers, so we felt free to spread out a little bit more, and a nice close walk to the showers.
So my question to you is what is your favorite camping spot and why?

As I have done in all years past, once again I am 'primitive camping' for 9 days - namely in a motel 50 miles away with no room service nor onsite bar & restaurant. lol

I remember when I was a kid, we camped way east of the barn store. I think it's a parking lot, or exhibit hangar now. The grounds have changed so much over the years.

How on earth do you manage???? :o

Same spot as last yr, and the previous yr, and the yr before that, basically for the reasons you describe. See ya there!

Joe, I'm a Vietnam Vet, I am pre-experienced in such hardships. I'd stay closer and in a nicer place but have not yet won the lottery - LOL

We've got a larger 5th wheel and come over on Wednesday. We have always camped in the southeast overflow area, until last year when they filled it up with empty semi trailers.
We ended up on the far west side of Stits Road (almost to corner of Poberezny & Ripple Roads), was not as nice as the other side. Over the last 10 years we watched as the number of folks camping has increased steadily. I think they may be in danger of actually filling the camp ground up if they waste prime camping space parking those trailers.
