Owing to his many articles in EAA publications, both the original magazine and the famous books in which they are compiled, Tony Bingelis is a major figure in the experimental aviation community.
I was very surprised to find that no article exists for Tony in Wikipedia.
Perhaps an EAA intern would like to create one? If not, I'll see what I can do in the next several weeks.
The EAA has provided the essential information already: https://www.eaa.org/en/eaa/aviation-communities-and-interests/homebuilt-aircraft-and-homebuilt-aircraft-kits/programs-and-resources/eaa-tony-bingelis-award/learn-more-about-tony-bingelis
