Hi, I am currently building a Tandem Airbike and will be powering it with a Franklin 2A-120-B Engine. Does anybody have any experience with this engine and or know what prop size this engine takes. The only information I can find lists the prop size as 60" maximum and 58.5 minimum diameter but no pitch size. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's the same engine as was used in the American Champion 7ACA Champ. The TCDS (Type Certificate Data Sheet) for the Champion 7 series says the 7ACA used a Sensenich model W60GM wood propeller. The TCDS for Sensenich calls for a pitch from 30" to 40".

With an Airbike, I'd bias things towards the low side.

Give Sensenich a call (google them for the phone number) and they will be able to tell you exactly what you need and how much it will cost. They'll make one for you if they don't have on in stock (that'll take about six months).
