2017 Oshkosh

Does anyone have any news or ideas on what Aircraft might be coming to Oshkosh next year? I know it's early but it's still exciting to think about! Would love to see the Martin Mars back and some serious Air Force representation in honor of the 70th anniversary.... Doc and Fifi together with a massive display of current hardware would be awesome! What do you guys want to see?

There is a rumor - not yet confirmed - that at least a couple of RV's will be there.

Ha Would love to see em! Some of the coolest homebuilts around. Another rumor- not yet confirmed- might be a few lancairs as well. We'll have to see;)

Me too BeagleOne:) I was pretty bummed that he didn't make it this last time but I'm thinking Oshkosh 2017 is going to be the best one yet! Fifi, Doc, 70th Anniversary of the USAF- lots of amazing potential if everything falls into place!

I don't care who wins on November 8, we are not going to be lucky. It would be nice to see a little more military presence in Oshkosh though. Well, as long as they're flying and not standing guard.

Oshkosh is still on their official 2017 schedule.

The 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid could trigger a some extra B-25 and other activity ! :-)

The Mars is still for sale and is not flying.

The new Murphy Radical is currently completing flight testing and will be there. It should prove to be an excellent back country plane, on wheels or floats.

I wonder if Bally's Bomber will make an appearance? No news since it's first flight to the airport in December of 2016. Would love to see it in person.
