The CAF in Dallas had a couple of steel drums that had been sealed and sitting for 50 years, no one had any idea what was in them.
They just opened them up, and next best thing to rare 50 year old wine was a fully servieced and preserved Norden bombsight, all intact and workable. Good backup for Fifi.
And they had a vet there who still remembered using one.
