Hi, I have gotten past the first hurdle, have built some of my landing gear mounts, and am now looking to do some of the FEA that I had in mind with all of this. How do you get Simulation running? Any ideas? Without simulation, this new computer for SW is just a paperweight...

Simulation is not part of the Student Design Kit which equates to SolidWorks Standard. SolidWorks Simulation Xpress is included. Not the full blown Simulation package.

I have SW FEA Statics - send me your models and boundary conditions and I'll see what I can do - no promises.
If it's an assembly send it in STEP format.
