Can we not talk about laser?

I posted a thread about lasers being pointed at planes, it appears it has been deleted? I dont believe it was offensive, can someone tell me what was a problem?

Basically I posted what was on this morning on The Today Show. However, I did ask a question, in my own words.

If we were going to talk, it's common knowledge that the number of lasers being pointed at airplanes has more than doubled over the past few yrs. It carries a stiff fine so make sure everyone you know, especially family members are aware of that. One guy got 14 yrs for pointing a laser at an airliner. It's not funny.
