We arrived at the Pet/24 generator area of Camp Scholler early Saturday morning before the start of AirVenture 2015. Much of the area was under water because of the overnight down pour. This was ironic because there appear to be a significant effort to build new drainage all around the area in the last few months.
The new drainage construction eliminated much of the space dedicated to Pet/24 hour generator. Looked like the general size of the area was unchanged from previous years but new drainage ditches eliminated many camping spots. The result was that the area was full by noon on Saturday, two days before AirVenture started.
Would it be possible to increase the area for Pet/24 hour generator to make up of space lost with the new drainage project?
