leading edge prep question

How are you guys shaping the .020 leading edge? It appears that a piece of 3/4" pipe would be an appropriate diameter for the turn around the nose ribs. Sure am afraid of kinking it. Someone suggested the suction side of a vacuum cleaner. Anyone tried that?
