A quick check shows that it only made its first flight in 1947. So whether it would have made a difference in WW2 would be like asking if B-47's would have hastened the end of the war (which also first flew in 1947.) Aside from that, from what I read, the A.E.52 was never intended for military applications.

Correct, it was purely a research aircraft, never intended as an operational type.
