1-Whats the aluminum alloy?
2-Whats the environment?
3-Whats the topcoat?
4-Any solvents in the area?

There are plenty of self etching rattle can primers that will stick to aluminum. SEM makes one, as do a few others. The compromise many of those make is they have no sacrificial elements, so offer little in terms of additional corrosion protection.
