Hi Everyone:
My Son and I are looking forward to flying rc planes off of Pioneer Airport runway. Thanks EAA! The only issue is getting my RC gear to the flying site without carrying stuff for a half mile from Brown lot in front of museum. Most roads are blocked or restricted to authorized vehicles.

The only possibilities I can see on Google maps is via an access road off Waukau ave. to back of museum (hopefully Waukau is back to two way traffic flow by then), or go into museum front lot entrance, and talk to security to see if I could drive around South end of museum, drop my gear, drive back around to front of museum and park in museum lot or Brown lot.

Are there any others on the forum planning to fly RC?, and how are you getting there?

Looking forward to OSH 2015!:D

I am excited as well. Not sure what it will be like, as they are planning a flight line with pilot stations. I fly mainly sailplanes and discus launch gliders, so I may or mat not be able to do that. I will throw in a couple small foamies just in case.
Getting there very well could be a hassle. I am expecting to be biking over with the plane disassembled in a quiver over my shoulder from Camp Scholler...

Yes, I have taken either Kilps or Goyke in (near the SOS beer tent) to get to pioneer/kidventure in the past.
