The wayfinding tower cameras have been installed and we are now waiting for the towers to be raised and power to be restored to the ultralight tower (there is a new concession building that was placed there and still needs to be wired before the power is restored).

I am about 65 miles away but i thought i heard the sound of a tower being raised. Looking forward to watching until we arrive at Airventure 2015.

I just checked and they are not working online. Is there a separate link to the webcams?

They're not officially live yet - the streaming software was updated and needs some tweaks before we officially "launch." The main issue is that they're not functioning properly on mobile devices so we're actively working on that.

Bill,

All 3 cams are still working fine from my perspective. In fact, at the moment there seems to be a swarm of bees or something buzzing around the warbird camera. I am on my desktop computer however (Mac) and have not attempted to view the cams on my phone yet. I'll give that a try and come back here to comment.

EDIT: Okay, I said I'd come back to comment and I was able to successfully log in to the webcam on my iPhone 6 Plus with no problem.

2nd EDIT: After further observation, I not convinced those are bees or wasps buzzing around the warbird camera. Flying ants maybe? I dunno.

RV-6s maybe?

Saw a Cessna taxiing by on Papa, possibly heading for the north 40.

Congrats to the Media Screaming team!

Webcams not working for me on Android tablet (Nexus 9) or phone (Nexus 5). Fine on PC.

Yeah, we're having a lot of trouble with Android devices for some reason. We ran into a similar issue last year, and the workaround was to either use the links embedded in the app (we'll push an update today that includes the webcams on the "News" tab) or you can just link directly to the streams:

Vintage

Warbirds
http://205.213.124.41:1935/live/warbirds.stream/playlist.m3u8

Ultralights

Don't get me wrong - we haven't given up on Android, but it's really got my guys baffled as to why it's not working.

Give them a try now - in addition to my workaround(s) listed earlier, we think we have the Android issue actually fixed. Just hi airventure.org/webcams from your device and try the 3 wayfinding tower cams and let us know if we got it. They're working on the Android devices we were able to test on.

Bill,

Something to try is make sure you either turn off your pop up blocker, or make them an exception so it allows pop ups for the webcam pages.

All cams look great on windows 7.
Don't you think it's a little early to hang the
"WORLD'S BUSIEST CONTROL TOWER" banner on the Air Traffic Control Tower.

Just kidding:)

Just to clarify; I only happened to remember the link from last year and posted it. That is all. I am merely another webcam viewer and in no way involved in the webcam effort. Any and all thanks goes to Todd and his group of volunteers. Thanks Todd.
