Camp Scholler opening date?

A question for EAA staff- What is the date that Camp Scholler opens this year? The website lists Friday June 26th, however by long tradition it opens on the Friday 30 days prior to opening day, which would be Friday June 19th. With the show itself being pushed up a week this year, was the opening day pushed up too? Was the website not updated? Just a typo? Or, is it actually to be June 26th?

Many folks, including a significant number of the volunteer groups like to arrive on opening day to stake out their campsites, so this is an important date. Please clarify for us. Thanks in advance.

No, since this question is of interest to a broader audience, I thought it best to ask in a public forum. Besides, the person who answers the phone is unlikely to be the one who can answer the question.

The person who answers the phone might or might not, but they'll figure out the answer. The EAA isn't that big of an operation this far out from the show and HQ is the one who is processing things like group camping requests and those obviously know when opening day is.

According to the folks in the know here at HQ, the opening date of June 26 on the website (https://www.eaa.org/en/airventure/plan-your-eaa-airventure-trip/eaa-camping-information/camp-scholler) is correct. It's actually traditionally the last Friday in June that Camp Scholler opens up, rather than 30 days prior. Last year it was on Friday June 27. Hope this helps!
