Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I am excited about this! AV has been missing cool warbirds for too long!

Very cool, I've never seen one in the flesh. Thought these relics of the Cold War were mothballed years ago, had no idea they were still operational. Looking forward to seeing this huge beauty.
Will certainly bring back memories of "Fail Safe" and "Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Love The Bomb".

Failsafe showed B-58's, although they called them something else. B-52's were in Dr. Strangelove, however.
Mothballed! They are still the backbone of the bomber fleet! (Just like C-130's -- also an early 1950's airplane -- are for tactical airlift.) A B-52 was just pulled out of Davis-Monthan to replace one that was lost due to a fire on the ground. If nothing else, it did prove that we can, economically, return some of those aircraft to service.
