Hi, I am a pilot, aviation historian for the Apostle Islands area and President of an outdoor products company "Russell Bay Shelters". I developed a new product that we all feel would be a great addition to your aircraft when camping at airshows, landing to freshen up or just organize your gear.
This is something not offered anywhere. It is a Wash-Pak that can attach to virtually anything, has a pull out sink, 10'-wide, 12" high and 13/4" thick. Filled it weighs approx. 3lbs and is quality made. The pack also comes in 6 colors and is named the "Wash-Pak Roamer"

It is being offered on "Kickstarter" at a reduced price of$30.00 / free shipping in U.S. until April 6th at noon. This is the link to the offer,

If we make out funding goal the packs will be manufactured and should be in your hands prior to the Oshkosh airshow which we know there are a lot of pilots camping there! Also we are going to be donating 20 filled packs to the"HeroBox" program for soldiers overseas. This will be a special camo pack just for them named the "Wash-Pak Hero".

Please take a look, share and comment on how you like it. All of the other groups are loving it from disabled campers, Teardrop trailer owners, boaters, soldiers, bikers, campers, their all giving it two thumbs up!

Thanks, Charles Nelson Pres. Russell Bay Shelters

Pretty neat little gizmo. The video looks like it was filmed at the Madeline Island airport, no?

Hi, yes it was at "4R5" or now known as "Major Gilbert Field" named after an Island boy who was a B-24 wing commander in India. I uncovered his story while writing the book "On Thin Ice" Windsleds at Madeline and pushed for the change. The Airport is on the location of the Gilbert Farm also so it was very fitting.

Great idea for camping, very convenient. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of vertical poles in the North 40 or any other camping areas at Oshkosh. Any suggestions for use without a nearby tree or phone pole?

If you could hang it from a tie-down loop on a high-wing aircraft and then somehow stabilize it so it wouldn't flap in the breeze, that would be awesome.

Any suggestions?

It can hang from the door on a high-wing like a Cessna and it will easily attach to a tree. Another idea is to attach a line from the tie-down running to two stakes about 16" apart straight down from tie-down. Then attach to this but a tree is best and all around the Oshkosh parking area. This video show how to attach it to the side of a car and may be useful for aircraft but you would need to be careful with door seal to not damage it. Chuck RBS
