B2OSH is expecting a record year because of the price of gas (several places in Oklahoma are less than $2.50 a gallon for 100LL)
I expect C2OSH to also have large numbers
Predict the north 40 to be full by monday or tuesday
Looking forward to seeing everyone in July
Kevin

Hey Skyhawk and Skylane Drivers,

Jerry Olson, the leader of the Cessnas 2 Oshkosh (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com) Gang of Cardinals is challenging us. He posted this on another forum:

Quote:

BTW, we have an unofficial contest underway this year. Last year the Cardinals outnumbered all the other Cessna types in the mass arrival, there were 18 Cardinals out of a total of 54 aircraft. smash

I'm sure there are enough 182's and 172's out there to beat this, after all, there were at least ten times the number of 182's built, and probably 20 times the number of 172's built compared to the Cardinals.

So the challenge; are you 182 and 172 drivers out there really going to let us Cardinals do this to you again?

Are we gonna let them Cardinals humilliate us? I don't think so.

I don't know what the Skylane drivers are gonna do, but I'm gonna push to make 2015 the Year of the Skyhawks 2 Oshkosh (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/). http://forums.cessna.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://forums.cessna.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://forums.cessna.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Spread the word!

If you are flying the mass arrival into Oshkosh as a PIC you must familiarize yourself with this document and must have it available in the cockpit during the mass arrival flight and the departure flight from Oshkosh.

The 2015 AirVenture NOTAM (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/NOTAM) is available on our website. Follow this link: www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/NOTAM (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/NOTAM) or copy and paste the text to your browser's address bar.

Hi Cessnas 2 Oshkosh pilots and EAA friends:

We are officially a GO!!! We are now in possesion of the 2015 Letter of Agreement (LOA) (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA) between the FAA and Cessnas 2 Oshkosh, signed by the FAA Oshkosh ATC Air Traffic Manager Elaine Buckner and our own Rodney Swanson.

http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/media/img_1049.jpg (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA)

The LOA (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA) describes in detail the procedures of the mass arrival flight and is an obligatory reading for our pilots. It should be treated with the same dilligence afforded to the AirVenture NOTAM (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/NOTAM) and must be carried in the cockpit accessible to the PIC during the mass arrival flight.

To download the 2015 Letter of Agreement (LOA) (http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA) visit our website at: http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA

Let the countdown begin!!!
